As 2025 draws to a close, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your continued engagement and support. None of what we achieved this year would have been possible without the collective energy of our community. This has been CGM’s most impactful year to date, with 21 events delivered that advanced climate governance awareness, strengthened leadership engagement, deepened peer learning, and enabled meaningful, sector-focused dialogue across Malaysia.
Each session was thoughtfully curated to deliver practical value connecting members with leading experts, sharing emerging best practices, and creating trusted spaces for open and forward-looking conversations on evolving climate responsibilities. The strong participation and consistently positive feedback we received reflect a growing recognition that effective climate governance is no longer optional, but essential. Achieving these many events in a single year is not just a milestone; it is a clear signal of the momentum building within the CGM community and the relevance of this platform for leaders navigating climate risk and opportunity.
We’ve had an incredible 2025, and here are just some of the highlights:

What makes this progress especially compelling is how it was achieved. With a small but highly committed team of 5 Secretariat staff, supported by 10 Council Members, 5 Board Members, 23 expert advisers, and dedicated volunteers, CGM has shown the power of a mission-driven network to create real, system-level impact. By being part of CGM, members are not only joining conversations but they are contributing to a growing movement to build informed, climate-resilient leadership and to strengthen Malaysia’s climate governance ecosystem. We invite you to be part of this journey and to help shape the next chapter of meaningful climate action.

Through these engagements, NCGS 2025 strengthened national awareness of climate governance, helping participants better understand climate risks and opportunities as well as the role of transition finance in guiding corporate decision-making toward a more sustainable economy.
