 Southeast Asia advances its clean energy transition, nuclear energy is emerging as a potential low-carbon solution to strengthen energy security and support decarbonisation goals. Drawing from Canada’s experience in nuclear innovation, this session will explore the opportunities and challenges surrounding nuclear energy development in the region.


The session will also highlight CANDU — the only nuclear technology in the world that uses natural, unenriched uranium — offering greater energy independence and a more accessible pathway for countries exploring nuclear energy.
