Dato’ Henry has been a dedicated member of the CGM Council for several years, bringing crucial expertise and unwavering commitment to advancing climate governance and sustainability in Malaysia.

Trained as a Chartered Accountant in London, Dato’ Henry has made Malaysia his home, contributing significantly to corporate leadership and environmental stewardship. With over 50 years of experience in the plantation industry, the last 30 with the Guthrie group and Golden Hope, followed by an impressive tenure from 2007 to 2022 with Sime Darby Berhad and its associated companies, his deep understanding of corporate governance and sustainable practices is unparalleled.

As an advocate for climate action and biodiversity conservation, Dato’ Henry has consistently championed meaningful initiatives that align with CGM's mission to drive sustainable progress.
