Founder and CEO of Earth on Board, dedicated to informing and helping companies to place sustainability at the centre of their strategy and of their Governance – starting with the board. Since its creation, Earth on Board has held more than 400 sessions in 30 different countries in front of 10,000 senior executives and board members.

Member of the International Advisory Board of the World Energy Council (WEC) and former Energy and Climate director of WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable development. Former Chairman of HRH The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change, former member of the Advisory Board of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, he is now a Fellow of this Institute where he lectures regularly. Former Trustee of Client Earth, he is now a director of Client Earth Belgium and Japan. He is a Member of the Advisory Board of A4S (Accounting for Sustainability).

He is Advisor to several CEOs of leading global companies in the area of Sustainability and International Development and sits in several boards of directors of companies in Singapore, Sao Paulo, Paris, London and African continent.

Philippe was previously President of Alstom Power and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Alstom Group (a Group of 94,000 employees in 100 countries, with €20bn in sales for 2011/2012).
