As the global community gathers for the 31st United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31) in Antalya, Türkiye, the conversations taking place will help shape the future of climate action, energy transition, finance and resilience.

But what do these global developments mean for Malaysia — and for the businesses, investors, policymakers and communities navigating an increasingly complex climate landscape?

Malaysian Support for COP31 , an initiative by Climate Governance Malaysia, aims to bridge the gap between international climate discussions and local action. Building on the momentum of CGM's previous COP parallel programmes, this initiative will connect global perspectives with Malaysia's priorities, bringing climate insights closer to the people and organisations responsible for turning ambition into action.

Through engaging conversations, expert perspectives and insights from the COP31 agenda, the programme will explore the implications of global climate developments for Malaysia's economic competitiveness, corporate strategy and long-term resilience.
