Tan Sri Dr. Jemilah Mahmood was recently appointed as the first Asian Senior Fellow of the Arsht-Rockefeller Centre at the Atlantic Council where she will be working with global experts on strategies to increase resilience of 1 billion people at climate risk by 2030. She is also the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Malaysia on Public Health, and began her mandate in April 2020. She is also a member of the Government of Malaysia’s Economic Action Council and is actively engaged in the COVID-19 response.
