Renard Siew

Renard is a sustainability and climate change specialist. He has served as the Head of Sustainability where he is responsible for advancing his organisation’s work in the field of climate change and sustainability.
He was the recipient of the Yayasan Sime Darby Scholarship, Cambridge Bursary Scholarship, ARG Hermes Scholarship, The Equity Initiative (Atlantic Fellows), Brookfield Multiplex Engineering Prize among others. For his work in sustainability, he was named one of Asia’s 21 Young Leaders by Asia Society, a Young Leader by the World Cities Summit, Ten Outstanding Young Malaysians (Environmental Leadership), Thomson Reuters Changemaker, Top 10 Most Inspiring Green Warriors and was a 2019 Generation Tatler honouree.

BK Sinha

BK Sinha, Mechanical Engineer / Sustainable Development Innovator

BK Sinha is a founding Director of Habitat Enviro, the former CEO of Malaysia Green Building Council (malaysiaGBC), Vice Chair of the Asia Pacific Network (APN) of the WorldGBC., and currently, Council Member of malaysiaGBC 21-23.

He has over 30 years’ experience in Project Management, Green Buildings and Waste to Energy project development.Sinha is respected as a thought leader and mentor in many notable sustainable projects in Malaysia, Maldives and Vietnam. He has been consistently involved in capacity building for Circularity and Carbon Footprint Awareness of building materials with malaysiaGBC

Christine Rodwell is a General Manager of the NGO "Reporters for Hope" and journalist at AFP, I acted as a catalyst for solution-oriented insights into global health, environmental, social and economic issues.She is committed to helping companies increase their social and environmental impact while contributing to their economic performance and advise them on how to build coalitions of actors on the territories where they operate - with the private sector, cities, international organisations, foundations, social entrepreneurs, media and academic institutions.

Seok Mei is the Executive Director of United Cities, a non-profit organisation that enables cities to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by providing awareness, education, innovation and sustainable technologies, academic partnerships, and funding opportunities. She is Advisor and Board of Director of Techative, an Oracle and Microsoft consulting and services organisation.She does contributes her time to research and knowledge with the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (UN-ITU) Focus Group “Artificial Intelligence for Environmental Efficiency” and Working Group Experts of “Enabling People-Centred Cities through Digital Transformation”, member of ASEAN Women Entrepreneur Network, Malaysia National Technology Association Women in IT, Singapore Mentoring Alliance for Action and mentors’ youths from Singapore, Malaysia, and US universities.

Ts. SHAMSUL BAHAR MOHD NOR

Ts. Shamsul Bahar Mohd Nor is the Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), the primary driver for Green Technology and Climate Change Development under the purview of the Ministry of Environment & Water, Malaysia. In 2014, Ts. Shamsul Bahar was awarded the patent approval in 40 countries for a renewable energy system that converts waste plastics into commercial Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel Oil (EN590), winning him the MOSTI’s Innovation of the Year Award, Malaysian Green Technology Corporation’s Catalyst Award and the United Nation’s Global Cleantech Innovation Award for Green Technology Renewable Energy Systems. He now directs and oversees the company's overall operational policies, initiatives, and goals to spearhead the country’s climate change agenda and to drive sustainable economic development
