She was appointed as Executive Director of Growth and Innovation for Climate Governance Malaysia, successfully managing the National Climate Governance Summit with a team of 2.5 individuals. Shern holds a Master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which she completed before the age of 21, along with a degree in Experimental Psychology, where she delved into AI computational psychology and developed a deep-seated interest in various psychological fields including political, cognitive, social and cultural evolution. Her extensive experience includes consulting for Beyoncé's manager, founding the widely acclaimed non-profit digital project Ma-Kasih, which eagerly connected people in need during the pandemic's peak, and working in Malaysia's first tech unicorn, where she assisted with operational strategy. Shern was also appointed to oversee and manage the Bristol Alumni Association and played a crucial role in fundraising and operations for Connect-ED, a social enterprise providing free laptops to disadvantaged children. She assisted operations for a prominent tycoon's personal foundation and is passionate about identifying blue ocean innovative opportunities, particularly in the fields of mental health and well-being development.
