Angelia Chin Sharpe 

CEO and Country Head (Malaysia), BNP Paribas

Angelia Chin-Sharpe is Chief Executive Officer and Country Head for Malaysia at BNP Paribas Asset Management. She is also our board member of BNP Paribas Asset Management offices in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Angelia has been with us since 2007 and is responsible for the successful set up of our Malaysian business. Recently, Angelia was awarded as the CEO of the Year by Asia Asset Management “2021 Best of the Best Awards”. She was ranked 14th most influential women in Islamic banking and finance in the WOMANi2020 and WOMANi2019 reports. She was ranked 34th in 2018. Angelia is a seasoned capital market professional with over 20 years of experience in banking, capital markets and asset management. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia. She has completed her Chartered Islamic Finance Professional exams with INCEIF and is registered as a Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance with The Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals. Angelia serves on the board of the Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Centre, Treasurer of the Malaysian Association of Asset Managers, a Member of the Joint Climate Change Committee of the Securities Commission Malaysia and Bank Negara Malaysia and member of the Joint Sustainable Finance Working Group of ASEAN. When not wearing her corporate hat, Angelia serves the community through The Lost Food Project where she is the President and Founding Committee member. She is also Industry Advisor with Thought for Food, SE Asia. She lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with her husband and two children


Promod Dass

Deputy Group CEO, RAM Holdings Bhd 

Promod Dass is the Deputy Group CEO of RAM and CEO of RAM Sustainability. He leads RAM Group’s Sustainability Services and Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) analytics. Promod has accumulated 25-years in the financial services industry including 20 years at RAM Group. Promod is also a member of Principles for Responsible Investment’s Advisory Committee on Credit Ratings and is also involved in several other regulator/ industry led sustainable finance initiatives both in Malaysia and internationally. RAM Sustainability is a provider of sustainability services and environment, social and governance (ESG) analytics. Incorporated on 31 May 2000, RAM Sustainability is a wholly owned subsidiary of RAM Holdings Berhad (RAM Group). RAM Sustainability is the first ASEAN-based provider of sustainability ratings and second opinions and has the distinction of being the first Registered Observer of the International Capital Market Associations’ (ICMA) Green Bond Principles (GBP), Social Bond Principles (SBP) and Sustainability Bond Guidelines in ASEAN. Tham Chee Aun

CEO, Ditrolic Solar Group

Mr. Tham Chee Aun is the founder and CEO of Ditrolic Energy Group with over 12 years of experience in the solar and renewable energy field.

As one of the early starters of the industry in South East Asia, he has broad experience in business development, project execution, corporate and project structuring as well as wide exposure in renewable energy finance and contracts.

In his capacity as the CEO, he provides strategic direction to the company and manages operation in the key strategic area of the group businesses.

To date, Mr. Tham Chee Aun has successfully developed and owned more than 350MW of projects in various countries, such as Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia and Bangladesh. He also sits on the board of two Fortune 500 Independent Power Producer subsidiaries through joint venture with Ditrolic Group.



Dr Kalanithi Nesaretnam

Co-Founder CGM

Dr Kalanithi Nesaretnam is co-founder of Climate Governance Malaysia (CGM) which is the country chapter of the World Economic Forum’s Climate Governance Initiative. She is currently  an Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) at IOI Corporation Berhad, a public listed company.  She is an ESG advocate and recently completed The Oxford University's Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme at the Said Business School.

She holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Reading, UK and has research publications and patents to her credit. She is familiar with international markets having worked and travelled extensively in Europe, Australia, America and Asia.

She held the position of Director, Product Development and Advisory Services at the Malaysian Palm Oil Board and subsequently as Minister in the Embassy of Malaysia to Belgium and Mission to the European Union.
